SELECTING A VIDEO CHANNEL CATEGORY:

Every powerTV channel is grouped into a market, segment, and category. You must choose one which best fits your channel. This will make it easier for users to find our channel using the powerTV channel selector. It's a multi-drop down interface. Select each drop down which is closest to your web site, community, or video channel.

However, there might not be a good existing fit. If that is the case, you can temporarily choose "Uncategorized" and click the checkbox, "My channel does not fit into any existing market, category or segment". Please enter your desired category and reason for the request.

CHANNEL SERVICE SELECTION
This next area is where you will select whether you want to utilize the powerTV service as a Free Service or an Enhanced Service. You can read up on the differences in detail in the thread: powerTV Free Vs. Enhanced Service.

The main difference is that as a Free Service channel you are able to use utilize powerTV's video technology, servers, and customer service/technical support at no cost to you, and get a revenue sharing amount based on the total advertising sales your video destination generates if it is over $500 per month. In addition, as a Free Service partner, you must work with powerTV in several key areas to promote your video channel. powerTV controls the advertising banners and pre-roll TV spots, as well as sponsored content which can be deployed across your channel. In all cases, you will receive a revenue share amount based on the existing revenue sharing schedule so long as you are exceeding $500 per month.

Free Service Revenue sharing is currently as follows:

We pay .04 cents per video (4/10s of a cent) per video broadcast on your video channel, plus we pay for all expenses
listed above. We will run advertisements and video commercials across your channel to offset these payments and
expenses. You get paid no matter whether we sell advertisers or not. This is our most popular revenue sharing plan, but
to take advantage of it, your site must be eligible.

To be eligible for the Paid Traffic Revenue sharing option, you must:

1. Your website and video content must be in a segment approved and accepted by powerTV.
2. You must have enabled your video bot and integrated it into your forum.
3. You must place a video link in your main navigation as well as your home page.
4. You must place a forum sticky in your video section promoting and prompting video uploads.
5. You may not place fraudelent views or clicks. We monitor views, IP addresses, and video length's watched.
6. You must enable syndication to PowerTVonline.com to promote your videos and video channel.
7. You must be willing to stay with the Paid Traffic program through December 2008. After December 2008 you may
switch to another plan or Enhanced service.
8. PowerTV sells advertising, sponsored videos, and TV spots to offset these expenses.

We pay .04 cents per video (4/10s of a cent) up to 250,000 (quarter million video views) per month. This amount is
payable via paypal monthly so long as it is greater than $20.00.

We suggest you read the details on the Free Service agreement so that you can be aware of the entire program. powerTV reserves the right adjust revenue sharing in the future.

In addition, you can also sign up for powerTV's AdForum Program where you run additional remnant ads from powerTV's advertisers between the first and second posts in your forum. This is optional and you may enroll by contacting powerTV. You will receive a revenue share from any advertising offered as part of the powerTV AdForum Program.

Enhanced Option
Enhanced Service channels control their own advertising (if desired) and pay a monthly fee to powerTV which consists of a Server Fee, and a Bandwidth Fee. Contact powerTV for more information on Enhanced service.
